Long time since blogging!
Its been a while since i last blogged. Gees time goes by so quick! Alto of things have happened over that period of time. But God doesn't change. His always the same!
Ive been quite sick over that period of time. The doctors discovered that i had a disease inside my ear that was eating away at me bones. YUK! I was in alot of pain and some days i couldn't even hear. It sucked big time. But i believed for a miracle of God to happen.
Last weekend i was the GO FOR SOULS conference. What an awesome weekend of God miricles and souls saving! I was prophised over and even was healed! Glory to GOD! That same week i prayed to God for the job i applied for that he wouldnt give it to me. But God had other plans and made me get it. Its Gods plans that we have to live by! but you know what... Gods plans are s much better than our own.
I just thank God for his hand in my life and ill blog a bit later on on another miricle that happened to me on tuesday morning at about 4:30am.
But till then i just pray that God will bless you and keep you.

Praise Him!
There’s nothing better than getting into that secret place with God. Just let you get into his presence. Let Him do the rest!
Wednesday night last week a mate and I had the most powerful encounter with God. The devil had been using people to attack me. But I prayed that the devil will be put under my feet. Jesus is the King, The leader and the Winner!
Just remember, when you get attacked, don’t stress, don’t get negative. It’s a good sign that that’s where you need to be. The devil will only attack what isn’t going to be good for him.Bless you in the journey to the kingdom of God.
In His Name!
Psalm 148:1 (Whole Chapter) Hallelujah! Praise God from heaven, praise him from the mountaintops; Praise him, all you his angels, praise him, all you his warriors, Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, you morning stars; Praise him, high heaven, praise him, heavenly rain clouds; Praise, oh let them praise the name of God— he spoke the word, and there they were! (message)
Luke 2:13 (Whole Chapter) At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God's praises: Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him. (message)

Good Food and Great Fellowship
I can tell you the food was fantastic. The company and what we discussed was great. The local owner of the shop came over and wondered where we had come from. We answered Altona. She was amazed that we had traveled the 20 mins or so to come eat at her place.
Jesus did exactly the same traveling to peoples homes just to eat with them to enjoy in fellowship and to pray. I believe that this changed the owners of the places where he ate. I believe just as it was done with Jesus that we had changed this owner of the Thai restaurant. I’m going to pray for her and her family. The lady was very nice and we all commented on how her food was great.
Then we went to McDonald’s and had desert. While there we decided to pray for our entire group. And the people that was away. I just want to ask you guys to pray for 2 people in our group. One person is struggling in his day to day relationship with God. I ask that you may pray for him. Another guy is in Queensland and has lost his voice for about 4 days now and I believe in both instances God is going to move powerfully in their lives and heal them both.
Praise God!
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Question Time....
I was thinking this when i was reading the passage of Pentecost and the part of fellowship. I love to hear what people’s responses are to this.
Bless You!

Challenge... Do you Accept?
Been a while since my last Blog entry. I tell you it was a wild, challenging and also best time of my life. Let’s go all the way from the start.I had been unemployed from a couple of days since Christmas. I knew that was around the corner. I just sensed it (was a God moment) but at that stage I tried to keep it quite. I jumped on the band wagon of Centrelink benefits thinking that this was the easiest way out so I could have some money coming in. I had to attend Job Support Training and I choose The Salvation Army Employment Plus. This seemed to be going alright. I went and started a Microsoft Certified course and also got a ABN number. So I started to contract myself out to a local school in the area. That was going fine. Yet I was feeling empty.
Centrelink turned from being a convince into a dis-convince. My life was now run by them. I wanted to help out at my local corps like I knew god had called me to do. I was stuck. Things just seemed to be going round and round. I was feeling like I was down in a pit and the presence of God didn’t even feel like it was there.I had to do something. So I started praying and speaking to my corps officer and other Christian friends I knew. They all stated the same thing. I needed to give up everything and just jump straight into doing work at the corps 3 days a week. What did that mean? Giving up Centrelink, mind you I was happy to do that to get them off my back. But what about the money? What about the security.
The devil was attacking me from every direction. I needed to do something. So I went out for my corps officer and made the decision. I prayed that God this is your way and I believe that you will provide for me. So I did it. I cancelled my centrelink and started 3 days a week at my local corps. I started a small adults group... now being attended by 6 people, red shield I invited and connected with a few people and invited them to church. I have other stories to tell but ill add them in a later blog entry.God has showed me in the last few weeks to rely on him. He is your security in this life. He has showed me and Jesus said I am the way, truth and the life. No one goes to the father but through me. I love my God, I love my Jesus. I know that the Holy Spirit is going to direct me in doing his work in the Army that I love.
God bless you in your journey. God bless our Salvation Army. And may we Bless God!

Wilderness becomes a fruitful field
I just want to begin to say how great is our God!
On Sunday night attended a church service with Dave McCracken who had a prophetic word to speak to everyone. God surely did do some breakthrough and anointing of His Spirit.
God spoke to me about some goals that he wanted me to set personally and on a church level. A few of them was to be holy, submit to him, and be hungry for more. As we were praying some faces from my Employment Plus Training Session appeared into my head. I felt like I needed to pray about it.
Monday morning came along and I walked in, feeling so pumped from the Sunday night. I sat down and continued with work. I knew of this guy Jake that he was a surfer but that’s really all. Anyways the session ended and I went into the computer room and started looking up Christian sites. He was like oh man, you a Christian too so we talked for a bit about Jesus and being born again.
Today being Tuesday we were in class and out of the blue another girl opened up and said she attended church too. Jake and I were so excited so we sat there and started to talk about commitment to Jesus. One girl asked us what we were talking about and we told her. She laughed but I know God is going to use us to transform the lives of these people.
Jake and I have talked and on our 15 min break we are going to start a prayer group and then catch up for lunch. Jake and I went to mcdonalds and talked for 4 hours after the session about our journey with God and how awesome Jesus is. Some people sitting around listened in which we thought was awesome.
Praise God. Jake and I have the same thought of some things and we are going to work together in attending to some of these things that God has placed on our hearts.
God is rising up his army. Its time to pray and listen to the direction of what God wants us to do. Praise God. Ill keep you posted on future developments!
Isaiah 32:15
Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is valued as a forest.

Leading of the Holy Spirit
Jesus! People know the power that’s in his name, the life changing effects that this king of kings has in the lifetime and this world. You know I have just come back from spending a week at French island and boy, did god stir and speak to me. I started reading a book of William and Catherine Booths story. As well as reading Acts! Man they would get anyone pumped for ministry. I love the little blurb on the back... it starts off as “William booth did not let tradition stop him from doing what god wanted him to do….” I thought so much tradition in our churches (not just the TSA) stops us reaching out and trying new things. William Booth did not let anything like that stop him. Jesus never let that stop neither him nor the disciples. So why should we?
As I was thinking this god was showing me new things, showing me stuff that would stretch the boundaries of our church let alone the churches in Altona. Then I started reading acts 5 vs12-16:12The apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade. 13No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. 14Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. 15As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. 16Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed. As I was reading this I thought hmmm church would be an awesome place if we started meeting like these believers. Keep the Sunday morning prayer meetings but don’t stop at the Sunday morning prayer meetings... do them throughout the weeks. Let the people in are community know what’s going on. our churches would surely grow and the spirit would fill men women and kids with its power and churches would start to grow. But i also thought why wouldnt anyone join them? (if anyone knows could you please comment your answer)
Ill love to see the day when people brought sick people and laid them in the streets, in the churches hoping for our shadows… the disciples of Christ to hover over and heal the sick and casting our the evil spirits. It will happen! The community recognised the presence of Jesus Christ not only as a person or a swear word. But a figure of authority, the king of kings, the lord of lords! The day school kids will be filled with the Holy Spirit convicting their friends and praising God in the hallways. Were school communities will not just be a place of teaching but it would be a place of feeding of the bread of life, teaching each other the power and miracles that Jesus can do. Healing each other and saving their family, friends and teachers!
You know god spoke to me and said you will be the biggest church in Altona. I’m like yeah go Jesus! The week where I was away we had 44 people attend our meeting. With 14 regular people away and I’m praying those 44 and 14 regulars will come and have a congregation of 58. Praise the lord!I pray that all that read this will not only see this happening at Altona but at their own churches. The spirit is moving. More good news just came out saying Stephen Court and Danielle Strickland will be coming to our territory. The lord is really pouring his spirit and reviving our army. Remember God can do anything. Ask and it shall be received. If revival is what you want that will what you will get. Praise the lord! God bless each one of you. I pray that god will guide you and you will fall to his leadership.
In Christ Jesus

First and foremost
God tells us in jeremiah 29 vs. 11, I will bless you with a future filled of hope – a future of success, not of suffering. How awesome is that. I’m living a life filled of hope and success, why cause I’m living for a god that’s bigger than any problem or situation. A god that’s bigger than any sickness or unwell. I’m living for the king of kings and the lord of lords!
This year is going to be awesome, at the start of the year god told me that the next two years at our church is going to be the most awesome years that this church has seen. He challenged me to just trust in him and follow and that’s what I have done.
You know we are an ARMY…. An Army full of soldiers ready for battle… to win the lost, to heal the sick and broken-hearted and build up the kingdom of god! May god strengthen and grow our Army… the Salvation Army. Let’s fight the injustice with justice and love. Let’s show this world who Jesus is and what he can do!
